Does air conditioning also heat in winter?
Yes. Every system we install is an air-to-air heat pump: reversed, it delivers roughly three kilowatts of heat per kilowatt of electricity, which makes it one of the cheapest ways to heat a single room, and it means the system works twelve months a year rather than six weeks.
Who is allowed to install air conditioning?
An F-Gas certified engineer, working for a business that holds its own F-Gas company certificate. UK law restricts refrigerant work to certified people and companies, so ask any installer for both numbers before work starts.
